Women in Tourism Seminar at Scottish Tourism Week
Women In Tourism (WIT) is delighted to host our first official event in partnership with Tourism Society Scotland (TSS) during Scottish Tourism Week 2016.
A MORNING SEMINAR: “THE FIRST OFFICIAL WOMEN IN TOURISM EVENT TO HIGHLIGHT THE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES OF BEING A WOMAN WITHIN THE TOURISM SECTOR.”
Find out more and sign up here.
The morning workshop, at Edinburgh’s International Conference Centre (EICC) on Thursday 17 March 2016 will highlight the challenges and opportunities of being a woman within the tourism sector.
During the event, delegates will be the first to hear the results of the survey commissioned by WIT in early January to gather thoughts and opinions from the sector on issues relating to gender equality, career development and leadership opportunities.
We will be joined by an exciting panel of female experts from across the tourism industry who will each present their thoughts on their roles and opportunities within the sector. This will then be followed by a Q&A with the panel and an excellent opportunity to pose questions to this group.
Speakers will be announced shortly, but we expect this event to be popular, and encourage you to sign up to confirm your place. The event is ticketed with rates for Tourism Society Scotland and Scottish Tourism Alliance members, as well as non-members and students.
We’d love to see you at our first event.
Find out more about the event and don’t forget that our industry survey is open until 19 February.
