Women in Tourism: Celebrating female leaders in 2024

In recognition of International Women’s Day 2024 and its theme to inspire inclusion, we want to inspire you with some fantastic speakers across Scotland.

SAVE THE DATE! 7 MARCH 2024 – Celebrating International Women’s Day #InspireInclusion

On Thursday 7 March 2024, join Women in Tourism for our first event pan-Scotland event!

For the first time EVER, we will be running simultaneous events in Glasgow, Edinburgh, St. Andrews and Inverness from 5.30pm – 8 pm, which will bring together colleagues from across the industry in our first event for 2024.

Further details will be announced in the New Year, with the full line-up.

We hope you can join us at one of these locations in-person, and there will also be the option to dial-in digitally for those unable to attend. During the evening you will hear from speakers at each location as we bring you a truly hybrid WIT event.

We’re keen to collaborate with colleagues and businesses aligning with WIT’s principles of supporting inclusion and celebrating women within their culture and work. As such, we’d love to partner with you on this event if you have at least a 50:50 gender balance across your senior team, are a female founder or leader; or support women-led business.

If you have suggestions for great women leaders to speak at our events, then we want to hear from you. Get in touch!

We are delighted to be collaborating with industry sponsors for this event; and would love to hear from those interested in offering a host venue at each location, or Scottish food and drink producers interested in sponsoring contributions to event catering/showcasing local produce.
