In recognition of International Women’s Day 2024 and its theme to inspire inclusion, we want to inspire you with some fantastic speakers across Scotland.
Over 70 participants from the Women in Tourism community joined from across Scotland on Wednesday 2 December to celebrate the 2020 WIT Top 100, hear thoughts from some of the WIT Top 100 themselves, and look ahead to 2021 with guest speakers from VisitScotland and Brand Scotland in our last virtual WIT Wednesday of the year. Some think equality is a ‘women’s issue’ but it’s fundamentally a ‘business issue’. Ensuring gender equality is essential for businesses and economies to thrive. Over the last few years a number of organisations have developed alongside Women In Tourism. Women in Technology, Women In STEM, Women In Journalism – with everyone sharing an ambition and desire to achieve greater equality in the boardroom, in media coverage, in the workplace and in our industries. #EachforEqual.
