Empowering inspirational development: apply by 22 November 2019
The Hospitality Industry Trust (HIT) Scotland scholarship programme is open to anyone working in, or studying towards, a career in the Scottish hospitality industry. These opportunities are available for all roles and at all levels.
Thanks to industry collaboration with HIT Scotland, Women in Tourism are delighted to be able to make available four HIT scholarships exclusively to Women in Tourism members – applications are open until the 22 November 2019.
The HIT Scotland learning experiences are designed to offer new skills or knowledge, to see best practice, or refresh ways of thinking. The scholarship content varies depending on personal development objectives, and the scholarship category applied for. They will all be inspirational and help take career development to a new level.
In addition to facilitating mentoring, hosting industry events, and encouraging women to make valuable connections in the sector, this exclusive access to industry scholarships via HIT Scotland continues to underline Women in Tourism’s commitment to support its members.
Susan Russell, Chair of Women in Tourism said: “The Women in Tourism board are thrilled to be able to offer this amazing learning opportunity to our members. This can help them take the next step in their career, challenge their thinking or inspire them through best practice. We strongly encourage our members to apply by the deadline date of 22 November, and we look forward to following the successful applicants’ journeys.”
David Cochrane, Chief Executive of HIT Scotland said: “HIT Scotland are delighted to offer up to four scholarships for WIT members to learn from the very best and benefit from an inspirational learning experience. These bespoke scholarships will enable the recipient to develop their own learning journey and bring back new knowledge to their workplace or educational facility. The opportunities that a WIT scholarship can offer will empower development and can be tailored to suit experiential needs at all levels and across sectors. I would recommend the scholarships to all.”
