Covid-19: A Message from Women in Tourism Chair Susan Russell
Covid-19: A Message from Susan Russell, Chair, Women in Tourism
We recognise this is a hugely challenging & stressful time for our members and for our entire industry across Scotland and beyond. As destination leaders, we want to reassure our Women in Tourism members that as a network, we are fully involved in active, ongoing discussion with tourism industry colleagues and Scottish tourism agencies across the country.
Several members of our board are taking part in weekly industry group calls to share information and advice and receive updates which we shall do our very best to pass on to you, our members, on a regular basis via e-bulletins, our blog and social media.
On the WIT blog you will find various industry resources which we believe are helpful for tourism businesses and wider business, and we are happy to add to these with your input and suggestions.
Please email us directly (info@womenintourism.co.uk) or contact us via social media – we are most active on Twitter – but we also suggest that you reach out to any of the Women in Tourism Board Members, if we can help in any way.
We want you to know that the Women in Tourism community is here to help and support our members as best as we possibly can in such uncertain and challenging times.
We would also be delighted to hear from any of our members, if they have ideas and/or suggestions as to how we can help, or if any members wish to share information via our channels.
Susan Russell, Chair, Women in Tourism
