Women In Hospitality & Tourism Awards 2017
On Sept 19th 2017 Women In Tourism were delighted to celebrate with all the nominees and winners of the inaugural Business Women Scotland Magazine Hospitality and Tourism Awards!
WIT were delighted to support the event, with Susan Russell, Chair of WIT joining David Cochrane9 (Hospitality Industry Trust) and Fiona Richmond (Scottish Enterprise) as judges for the awards.
On the night there was an opportunity to networking with over 200 women from across the sector as well as hear from a range of speakers including Fiona Hyslop MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism & External Relations.

- Restaurateur of the Year – Giovanna Eusebi, Eusebi, Owner
- Rising Star (and winner of a HIT Scholarship) – Nicole Sullivan, Hickory, Account Executive
- Spa Manager – Amy Yeates, Fairmont St Andrews, Director of golf, spa and leisure
- Venue Manager – Dawn Balfour, Eskmills Venue, Venue Sales Manager
- Lifetime Achievement Award – Angela Vickers, Chief Executive of Apex Hotels
