Top 100 Women In Tourism announced!

We’re delighted to announce the inaugural Top 100 Women In Tourism!  Earlier this year we launched a campaign to find the top women working across our sector and today we announce the 2018 list of inspirational and hard-working women. 

We recognise that there are various award schemes throughout the UK – often on a regional basis or via a media publication, however we recognised an opportunity to create something new; with the mantra ‘if you’re good enough, you’re old enough’.  You didn’t need to be a CEO or Director to enter, or be nominated; and the list we are announcing today reflects just that.

Susan Russell, Chair of Women In Tourism commented: ‘We were overwhelmed with the number of nominations and as such, in celebration of 2018, we’re announcing the Top 118 Women In Tourism!  Those included in the list include business owners, marketing and events colleagues, chefs, managers and emerging business leaders and the Women In Tourism team congratulation each and every one of them!’

We will be hosting an event this autumn in celebration of these inspiring women and colleagues from across the industry will be welcome to join (Save The Date: November 19th – Glasgow).
